Welcome to Kingswood College of Arts, a school that prides itself on being at the heart of our community.
We base everything we do on a set of principles:-
Our students are at the centre of everything we do and these are some of the things they’ve said about their college:-
Friendship with the teachers is amazing and they are probably the best things about Kingswood. In Year 7 they welcomed us with open arms and I still feel the same way. It is a very high-energy school especially with theatre and art.
Before I came to Kingswood, I had heard so many good things about the academic progress of the school and the welcoming staff. Now I’m in Kingswood as a Year 7 student, I have joined many clubs and activities and got lots of new friends.
I transferred to Kingswood from my other school because I was being bullied. When I first started going to Kingswood, the teachers and kids made me really welcome and everybody was very nice. Everyone always made sure I was all right and if they thought I was struggling they would help me.
Being a Pakistani, and studying at Kingswood, I have enjoyed each and every moment I have been here. I have never felt any difficulty here and all the staff and other students are really friendly and helpful.
Before moving to Hull, the school I attended found it very hard to stop bullying and took very little account of my special needs. Moving to Kingswood has lifted the world for me and opened my eyes to a new list of opportunities. Bullying for me is virtually non existent and the special needs team and teaching staff have given me the help and skills I need to achieve my ambitions.
I will never forget the five years I had at Kingswood. It was a great experience working and learning there and great fun. All the staff helped me to reach my targets at GCSE, and for this I am very grateful.
Over the past 9 years, Kingswood College of Arts has shown determination to face up to the many challenges that have come our way, to the extent that the community is proud to be associated with a school that has transformed itself! Kingswood College of Arts is showing sustained progress each year, thanks to students who are growing increasingly more confident in believing “I can, therefore I will”.
Take a look at Kingswood College of Arts – you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
